Experience the Life of a Traditional Sailor...​

Currently looking for Crew. No experience necessary.
Enthusiasm, good cheer and positive energy are always welcome.

If you are interested in crewing with us, remember, you can join or depart at any point as long as you arrange it with the captain and we are in port where you can get to or from civilization.
Please note that
New Zealands borders are closed to the rest of the world for the foreseeable future, so unfortunately only people that are already in New Zealand can sail on Alvei right now. It doesn’t matter what country you are from, only that you are already in New Zealand because if you are not already here you can’t get in.
We are anchored in Bon Accord Harbor on Kawau Island. We are heading for Tauranga for a brief haul out and then back to the Bay of Islands.
We will be making an ocean voyage to Australia in April and continuing our global circumnavigation westward into Indonesia and southern Asai.
Between now a that departure we will be sailing around New Zealand training the crew and reading the ship.
